What can you achieve in a 100 days?
This spring, Bernd and I started a 100-day service. The reason was that we saw many good companies that missed the ability to execute and as a result were not reaching their full potential.
In short, the idea is a 10, the execution is a 6 (or less).
We selected 6 entrepreneurs and started coaching them. Starting with defining specifically what we wanted to achieve in 100 days.
Followed by a plan on how we were going to get there.
Each week we would have a call, where we would discuss progress (or lack of progress) and adjust direction when needed.
We nearly reached the end of the first batch of entrepreneurs. Some results/learning:
- One entrepreneur stopped. The rhythm was too much.
- One entrepreneur increased traffic and has more focus but still the results are not at the level they should and could be.
- Two entrepreneurs will reach their target and have direction and rhythm.
- Two entrepreneurs will exceed their target and are accelerating.
The conclusion is that 2/3 have more success than before and are more efficient in using time and energy.
The reasons:
- Definition of achievable targets.
